Peering Policy

BizTelecom operates AS49410 with an open peering stance. We actively seek interconnection with networks that maintain professional operations and can demonstrate sustained traffic exchange. Our goal is to improve end-user experience by shortening paths and reducing latency wherever possible.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 Gbps of in-continent traffic destined to or transiting through your network.
  • A current and accurately maintained PeeringDB entry, including exchange information with properly formatted public fabric addresses, ASNs, and NOC/peering contact details.
  • Peers should maintain their private peering facility details on PeeringDB — we use this information for Private Network Interconnection (PNI) targeting and planning.
  • A professionally operated network with a staffed 24/7 NOC or on-call engineering team, capable of responding to operational issues in a timely manner.
  • Peers must only announce prefixes they are authorized to originate. We validate all routes against IRR and RPKI data.
